lauwersp
When developing CR3 (Canon R, Windows 10) the original photo (cr3) looses vibrance. It is as if a slight layer of haze is added to the photo. Adding vibrance to the developped photo makes it better but colour is better pre-developping. Examples in annexe, The developped photo (afphoto) had every possible adjustment box unticked. I am probably doing something (probably dumb) wrong, but what??? Pieter _59_0053.CR3 _59_0053.afphoto
Staff Lee_T Posted May 30, 2022 Staff Share Posted May 30, 2022 Hi Lauwersp, I've had a look at the image/s provided, by default on our system neither shows any particular haze beyond what's expected in those conditions, however it may be possible that a setting in your Affinity Photo may be disabled that can cause this. In the develop persona, click View>Assistant Manager... and under "tone curve" make sure it is set to "Apply tone curve" and not "Take no action". If this does not resolve the issue could you please supply a screenshot of your Assistant Manager window? Lee
Gnobelix
Hello @lauwersp, as Lee already mentioned, check the settings in the Assistant Manager. The image was developed as follows See setting Assistant Manager Plus Increase contrast by 4% Increase Clarity by 30% Done The development is only a suggestion, maybe it helps.
