entire page rotated???

This is really weird... I brushed my hand on my drawing pat as I reached over to pet my dog, and the whole doc rotated...  how do I undo this?

Hmm. I saved and closed, then re-opened and it looks like things are back to normal. But how...?

Under the View menu, you will see rotate left, rotate right, and reset rotation. These rotate your canvas, so the reset rotation will bring your canvas back to zero rotation. Not sure how you got it to do it, but that's where to change it.

It's a built in feature to rotate the canvas, can happen by accident as it does to me whilst using the trackpad.

 

To turn this off permanently so you don't accidentally rotate the canvas, Under the Affinity Designer menu go to  Preferences - Tools - Enable canvas rotation with trackpad and make sure this is unchecked.
