Staff NathanC Posted May 18, 2022 Staff Posted May 18, 2022 Hi @Nadar 12 hours ago, Nadar said: -Some of my Affinity photos files end with afphoto, some with jpg. Those with afphotos are also in jpg… What is the difference ? Simply put, .afphoto files are the standard native format for Photo files which ensure any objects/layers are kept intact along with guides, margins, masks etc. are all saved on the document. JPG can be considered an end format ready for final use, any existing objects/layers will be flattened upon exporting. 12 hours ago, Nadar said: -I can't remember how I save this files ending with afphotos. What is the way to do it ? To save a file in the native .afphoto format, open the Document Menu > Save a Copy, you can then specify the location you want to save the afphoto file. https://affinity.help/photoipad/English.lproj/pages/GetStarted/save.html 12 hours ago, Nadar said: -And how can one modify afphoto file to jpeg file ? You can save/export your file as JPG from the Document Menu > Export and choosing the JPG format, more information on exporting is available in the below help guide. https://affinity.help/photoipad/English.lproj/pages/Sharing/export.html    Quote
