I need help fixing a hyperlink in Publisher

Recommended Posts

I have a flyer with a bunch of website URL hyperlinks. Most of then work - the ones that are actually written out in the text of the flyer as the URL. However, I have one "Click here" that won't work, and I am not sure how to fix it. I used the hyperlink setting, put in the entire URL, saved it, and it does not work in the pdf.

I've attached the pdf flyer. The link that does not work is the Click here link on the second page in the second paragraph about Covid under the Registration heading.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Marcy

I just Exported that .afpub using the PDF Digital (small size) Preset and the "click here" link works fine for me. It does not work for me in your PDF file.

What were the export settings that you used (including those under More...)?

Walt, I did not use Export, I used Print and printed to pdf. I use FoxIt Phantom PDF to do this. I've attached two screen shots of the settings. Do you see anything I should do differently.

Maybe I should be using the Export function instead.

Thanks for your help, Marcy

You're welcome.

Probably your other hyperlinks really were'nt hyperlinks, either, when you Printed it. It was, probably, the PDF viewer that recognized them and treated them as hyperlinks due to their format. Some PDF viewers do that, some don't, and in some it's optional at the user's choice.
