I would doubt a fraction of a pixel to be visible on any stroke. That does not explain why the text is invisible, since it still has a 100% opaque red fill color. When I try this with this Contour text fill issue.afdesign file, & set the radius to anything other than zero, the text becomes invisible if & only if I do this to the "Not OK" text layer in the Artboard. This does not happen with the "OK" layer that is not contained in the "Artboard1" layer, so I think it is a bug. Another possible bug with this tool is that the status bar says I can use the Option key ⌥ to clone the object & apply the contour to it but that does not seem to be working for me. EDIT: Also please note that both text layers are Artistic Text objects, not Frame Text objects, so this may be different from the previously reported bug(s) that occur with the Contour Tool & Frame Text objects. loganblankk 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7

Good catch! I just dragged my text layer off of my artboard and the text layer became visible again with the contour applied. Is there a proper way to report this as a bug? Also, nice profile image. I've been reworking my way through Futurama and have it on in the background right now 😊 Edited June 2, 2022 by loganblankk Quote
Mirela Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Hi, I'm wondering why the contour tool doesn't work on text for me? It only works on shapes or if I vectorize the text... After many attempts I realized that if I remove the text from the artboard, it works but not entirely correctly, because many breaks appear. How do I solve this problem? thomaso Posted May 11 Posted May 11 @Mirela, I wonder if a blend mode applied to your stroke influences its appearance on the black artboard (but not on the pasteboard, of course)?
