Nadar Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Hi 😉 I try to paint on a part of a photo and I can't. I think it is because it is a mask. Can someone tell me how to do that ? On the screen shotenclosed I'd like to paint on the neck to fill the erased part : Thanks anniv Louis new.okforumafphoto.afphoto Quote Ipad Affinity Photo
walt.farrell Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 You will have to paint White on the mask layer to reveal more of the image it is masking. You can then select the pixel layer and paint on it with your normal colors to repair the neck. Perhaps you need to select the color after you select the brush. That will certainly be true if you switched Tools, as switching to the Brush Tool will switch the foreground and background colors. Nadar Posted May 14, 2022 Author Posted May 14, 2022 Thanks Walt 😉 The point is that the color I want to use for the neck is the one that is on the neck. So I use the the eye dropper to get it and so I have to use first the color and after the brush. How could I do ? Quote Ipad Affinity Photo

Or you could select the Brush Tool first, then use the color sampler in the Color Studio to sample the color.
