nickbatz Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 This is about a 4" sq section of a much larger 17"x36" picture I'm working on.Ideally I'd like to flood fill some of these red lines and shapes. Not all of them, some of them, and there are a lot - and there's a lot of red.Am I missing an easier way to constrain the flooding to where I want it than just to make selections each time I click with the bucket? What I plan to do is use Select Sampled Color within another selection (that I'll have to copy/paste onto another layer first, I guess). But I'm wondering whether I'm not missing a simpler way. I'll probably use other adjustments as well, of course. TIA Quote
Staff NathanC Posted May 10, 2022 Staff Posted May 10, 2022 Hi @nickbatz, Other than using the selections to constrain the area, have you tried enabling 'Contiguous' so the filled area is within the same area of the image rather than the full canvas? Quote
nickbatz Posted May 10, 2022 Author Posted May 10, 2022 Hm. I have used that before, but I never thought about what it really does. Thanks, good suggestion. (There are so many nooks and crannies in this program! It really is great.) Quote
