Affinity Designer: how duplicate artboard with global layer content?

Recommended Posts

How can I duplicate an artboard with content on overlying global layers?

If I duplicate Artboard 1 the content on the global layer is not shown on Artboard 2. Sure I can copy the global content on each artboard and then move it to the global layer, but this will make me crazy in a complex documents with a lot of elements...

Is there a elegant way to solve this problem?

Thanks!!!

the content on the global layer

There are no Global layers in Designer, or the other Affinity applications. You have merely created a separate layer whose contents happen to overlay an unrelated Artboard.

Sorry, but the function you want doesn't exist in Designer. It has been requested before. A forum search for global layer should show some of those discussions, for example:
https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&q="Global layer"&quick=1

The ones located in the Feedback forums are requests for the function to be added.
