erik.palencik Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 Hi guys, I have problem with xml:namespaces you are using in svg export, some engines like blender or react just can't import them and this is big problem for my graphics designer team and me because I have to delete them manually, some older xml importers (like python) don't support namespaces. Please fix it I wrote this problem before, I found there is more users having problem with it and you still didn't fixed it. (this is from latest affinity version, today downloaded). Its fcking 2 lines of code problem where you need to comment them. Quote
Staff Callum Posted April 12, 2022 Staff Posted April 12, 2022 Hi Erik.Palencik, Unfortunately there hasn't been much progress on this as other issues are taking priority at the moment. I can't really guarantee any sort of time frame or even if this definitely will be fixed. It may be worth trying the SVG optimiser mentioned in the thread we sent to you last time you posted regarding this. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/123941-serifid-attribute-added-to-exported-svg-file/page/2/ Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
erik.palencik Posted April 12, 2022 Author Posted April 12, 2022 @Callum Oh I see SVG optimizer has plugin for inkscape, no need to use affinity designer, anymore, whole company can refund affinity designer, that's nice.... I had affinity as first in my company on personal account and I convinced whole copmany to switch from photoshop / illustrator to affinity and now I look like idiot because svg export (only thing we need) is not working.
