kemie
I'm having problems with a quite simple stroke changing weirdly when expanded (see attached image). Any clues as to what could be causing this?
Old Bruce
Check your Start and End nodes for double nodes. Also try toggling them to round nodes and back to square nodes. This is to get rid of any handles on them. kemie 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. kemie
yep, i think it was the handles, thanks for the tip!. Still I'd expect the outlined stroke to be rendered the same as the original
Old Bruce
Just now, kemie said: I'd expect the outlined stroke to be rendered the same as the original. You and I (and everyone else) expect that. What we get is the result of some complicated algorithms deciding where and how to place nodes on a newly calculated closed curve. A not trivial programming task.
