Hello,

Is there a way to edit or rearrange the Context Tool Bar? I have to click the arrows on the right to get the items I use more often than some of the others that are readily displayed on the tool bar. This example is for text box. All of the text alignment options are hidden unless I click the arrows and I want them to be visible all the time on the Context Tool Bar when I'm in a text box.

Thanks,

Aurrora

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

No, there's no control over the Context Toolbar except for whether it's visible or not. What size monitor are you using, and are you using the recommended monitor display resolution?

I *love* the Context bar, it's so clean and compact compared to the traditional control panel that InDesign uses.

That being said, there's a change that Serif could make which would save some horizontal space. There are three a's and three pilcrows (para symbols) when editing text which looks cluttered - and my OCD can't help noticing that they're not vertically aligned. The first is a non-clickable label to identify the style list to its right while the others are Update Character/Paragraph Style and Character/Paragraph (show studio panel).

I suggest removing the label and moving Character/Paragraph to the left of each list, using the control itself to identify the list. The update controls could remain where they are or for a super compact layout they could be removed and "Update Style" could be added to the top or bottom of the style list itself.
