The title pretty much says it all. I try to open a JPEG file and the app locks up/freezes with a spinning ball. A portion of the image sometimes appears in the navigator. Screenshot attached; the spinning ball doesn't show. When I switch away from the app, I can't switch back. Force quit dialog shows (not responding).

Happens every time.

Does this happen with any JPEG file, or only specific ones?

We've had other reports of users having issues when using this version of Monterey, which appears to be fixed in the latest updates. Can you please install macOS 12.2.1 and let me know if this improves the behaviour for you?

Many thanks in advance!
