TheFiMo Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 While refining the masking disappears. I had the same issue in the Liquify persona from time to time - but here it is very reproducible. I am using a M1 MacBook Air 8 gb ram with 12.1 Monterey. I use the MagicMouse two without Popclip! Affinity was downloaded on Appstore. Untitled.mov Quote
Dan C Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Hi @TheFiMo, Welcome to the Affinity Forums Sorry to see you're having trouble! I've tried replicating this here on our M1 MacBook Air and I've thus far been unable to reproduce this issue. Could you please provide a copy of the image used in your screen recording? I would like to see if this is part of the recipe. Secondly, can you please navigate to Affinity Photo > Preferences > Performance and provide a screenshot of your settings here for me? Many thanks in advance! Quote
TheFiMo Posted February 21, 2022 Author Posted February 21, 2022 Sorry - I don't have the Tiff-version off this Foto - I imported it to Photos on Mac and used the shortcut cmd + Enter to edit it in Affinity. Attached you have the rawfile. 22-02-07_38.nef Quote
TheFiMo Posted February 21, 2022 Author Posted February 21, 2022 @Dan C Also I am having other problems with my masks. I attach the RAW right away... 1429149957_ScreenRecording2022-02-21at16_57_07.mov 21-05-02_ 49.nef Quote
TheFiMo Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 came across this. seems to be a known issue. I cannot load the beta tho, since I downloaded affinity for my current Mac on the App Store. Quote
Dan C Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Thanks for the RAW files provided! Can you please try unticking Hardware Acceleration at the bottom of the Performance dialog, restart the app as prompted and try refining your selection once again - does this stop the 'square' issue from appearing please? 12 hours ago, TheFiMo said: came across this. seems to be a known issue. I can confirm this is a known issue as mentioned, however you certainly can use the Affinity beta when downloading the app from the Mac App Store! Please download the beta from the below link and install this alongside your retail version, so that you have 2 versions of Affinity installed at once - Please do let me know how you get on with the beta Quote
