Crash with "Add" tool on paths

MiddleRob

Recommended Posts

This happens every time.

How to reproduce:

  • Open the attached document
  • In Layers, scroll to the bottom Symbol and expand it
  • Select all 4 curves in the expanded symbol
  • Click "Add" on the top menu bar

At this point, the process hangs, the Add process shows a loading bar and just stays there, the process starts consuming a ton of memory.

There has always been a problem with adding open curves. You would be better served by selecting the individual curves and joining them one by one until you have a closed curve. It is only four curves so not too much of a problem. You may need to reverse one of the curves, you can't join two ends, you need a start and end.

It is the weird H shape second from the right.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
