Affinity Photo Flood Fill does not retain color

Recommended Posts

New to Affinity.  I want to change the color in a selected area, explicitly setting RGB or CMYK.  The Flood Fill bucket does change the color, but does not retain the exact values.  For example, I wanted CMYK at 100/0/0/0 (pure Cyan).  The change appeared to be done but when I use the eye dropper to sample the color, I get 69/15/0/0.  Is this a bug?  How do I get it to set exactly the color I specify?

The same happens with the paint brush tool.

Hi and welcome to the forums @Ken Nelson,

I am going to bet that the document's colour space is RGB and if you were to make a document in a CMYK colour space then the CMYK values would be saved.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
