Hi

Im not sure why this started to happen. On startup or everytime I change focus to a different tab, the open file moves right and down.

I have to keep adjusting the image to center it.

I have tried to reset affinity designer in order to correct any possible change that I could have done by mistake, I even updated AD to the last version, but keeps doing the same.

Any ideas?

Hi MEB

Thanks for your help.

I have tried with and without the pen connected. Im using windows 10, with a laptop.

I can´t understand. All images open in center for one second...and then go down and right.

Hi @NunoF,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Do you have other input devices connected at the same time? For example a mouse and a pen/tablet which may be interfering/causing the panning? Have you tried to disconnect/connect the mouse/keyboard and check if the issue still happens? What OS version are you using?

Ok, so, I have new details that might be related. Besides happening 1 second after opening a new file, it also happens when I move the bottom and right side elevators. If I move the bottom elevator the images goes down, and if I move the right side elevator, the image goes right. This happens every time I move the elevators.

Ok....I have found what is causing this.

It only happens when Affinity is open in external monitor. An LG 27.

It does not happen when using the laptop built-in, smaller, monitor.

I think it might be related with the resolution or something but I have no idea how to fix this.

Thx

So, I moved AD to the built-in monitor screen and then back to the external screen.

Then selected each opened tag and moved the image to the center.

This seems to have fixed the issue. For now. Let´s see.

Leaving this here, might be helpful to someone.

Thx
