tonyt Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Hi How do I select the above on a white background and then copy just the line to a new blank layer. I cant see a 'new layer via selection / copy'? Cheers........ Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 30, 2015 Staff Posted November 30, 2015 Hi tonyt, Just select the element you want, copy and then paste. It should be placed in a new Layer. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
tonyt Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 Thanks, how do I select a very thin line without selecting the white outside it. Is there some sort of special way to select a wavy freehand line a la PS and Magic Wand? I have tried the selection tool but get very poor results! Cheers.... Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 1, 2015 Staff Posted December 1, 2015 Hi tonyt, Draw a selection rectangular marquee around it, copy/paste to place it on a new layer then go to Filters ▸ Colours ▸ Erase White Paper. You should end up with a clean line. superhaschi and tonyt 2 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
