Small bug, but nevertheless a bug 🙂 Observed both in Affinity Designer and -Photo (v. 1.10.4.1198), when downloading a new Add-on (in this case "ChalkDust") the "counter" counted to 158%. So the counter is actually showing the number of "MB" it is downloading, and not the percentage. So either you are showing the wrong value, or the wrong units ("%" in stead of "MB").

Hi @pellelil,

Thanks for your report!

I can confirm that we've seen this happen once in internal testing, but we've since been unable to replicate it - testing here on both Windows and Mac, the percentage bar maxes out at 100%, when the download is complete.

Can you please verify, does this happen with all add-ons you can download, or only certain ones? :)

I only noticed it with this add-on, as it was the only one I just added. I have not noticed it in the past, but I can't say whether it have occurred before. Yesterday after writing the previous post, this addon was added to my Publisher, and here it did not go beyond 100% (perhaps the download was so quick it did not update the screen to show values greater than 100%).

The green-bar seems work as it should (not growing too large). It appears its only the percentage-value displayed that grows beyond 100%.

I have another computer where I have my Affinity software, I'll monitor if it will be the same I see on those, when this addon is being added.

Many thanks for confirming that for me!

I've logged this with our developers now being sure to include all the information provided to me here - I hope this helps :)

Strange ... I've just added this add-on in both Photo, Designer and Publisher on another computer, and here all 3 program only counted to 100% ... so I am guessing its not an easy fix
