dchristman Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Hi- I've been using AD (1.10.4) on MacBook Pro (10.15.7) for awhile. I just recently upgraded AD; I don't understand what's happening: I'm trying to create a filled (solid) rectangle, but I wind with a rectangle that's only displaying color partially across the center of the rectangle. I've uploaded a screen grab- light blue shows the box boundaries, the black indicates the outline (which has turned out weird), and the fill is green- why isn't the green filling the box? What the heck is going on? How do I change rectangle(s) back to blank? Bah!! Thanks, Donna Quote
carl123 Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Ideally, we need a Designer document that shows the problem Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
GarryP Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Following on from the comment by carl123 above, if you cannot share the document in public then a full-screen screenshot is often very useful – especially if it includes the Layers Panel with the selected problem layer(s) visible in that panel. I suspect that your rectangles are inside – are ‘children of’ – another layer (maybe an Artboard), and their extents are beyond that ‘parent’ layer, or maybe the extents of the layers are outside of your page boundary, but it’s difficult to determine from such a limited partial screenshot.
