Hi,

I'm running into an issue where, when trying to use a USB pen tablet, brushes with pressure-based dynamics enabled draw with very distinct banding at lower pressures / sizes. This happens both when using the pen to draw the whole length of the line, and when holding Shift to draw a straight line between two different pressure-sized points.

No combination of varied pressure curves, high / low tablet sensitivity settings, spacing, and stabilizers seem to help. I have OpenCL disabled because it was causing lag (as suggested in other forum posts).

Is this a known bug? Are there any workarounds?

Using my pen for the whole duration of the line:

Holding Shift to draw between two points tapped with different pressures (pen only used for the endpoints):

I'm currently evaluating the free trial before upgrading, and not being able to draw seamless lines with varied start and end sizes would be a deal breaker for me, tho I greatly appreciate the effort put into the rest of the program.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi @AirAKoseand Welcome to the Forums,

If you start a new document on the new document dialog set Colour Format to RGB/16bit, are you able to replicate the issue?

I'm going to try and track down a MTE-450 to see if i can replicate this :)
