ferny Posted November 26, 2021 Share Posted November 26, 2021 I'm on iPadOS 15.2 running Designer 1.10.19. When working with text boxes and a keyboard, using the typical shortcuts (which work on Mac and the rest of iOS) to select and navigate text does not work. For moving the cursor (just arrow key input): left and right work fine, up and down do not. For jumping around with cursor (arrow key input + cmd) left and right do nothing, and cmd + up/down changes between bold and regular font?! I actually hadn't noticed this until I tested it right now. Either way, testing on the exact same document on Mac and it jumps the cursor to the next paragraph. For selecting (shift + arrow key input): left and right work fine, up and down do not. On Mac, shift + arrow key up or down selects the rest of the line/the line above. For selecting in bulk (shift + cmd + arrow key input): left and right don't work at all, up or down selects the entire rest of the text box in that direction, instead of just the rest of the paragraph. I also just noticed that the option + arrow key shortcuts for line/paragraph spacing are not working either. I made sure these shortcuts worked in other apps on my iPad like Safari and Word, just in case it was my keyboard that's broken, but it's doing fine.
