Good afternoon. I have a pageplus 85 booklet that I now propose to make a PDF of and continue to update overtime in publisher. The booklet in pageplus is from a booklet template a4 landscape which prints 2 pages of a5 on 1 a4 page in a booklet form  is there a suitable template to use in publisher. Thank you john

There are no templates coming with the Affinity apps but rather presets which you may customize in all their details before creating a document. So you could use for instance the A5 preset in either the tab "Print" or "Press Ready" in the "New…" dialog window. It doesn't matter which tab you use to start, both offer the same options and just have different settings saved. It is useful to check each single setting before creating the .afpub to avoid later adjustment.

I am not sure what you mean with "I now propose to make a PDF". Just in case: You can open a PDF in APub, this way you don't create an .afpub first but it will rather get created by APub when opening the PDF and it uses the page setup of the PDF. Therefore you would export from PagePlus as single facing pages (not as spreads with the half number of sheets).
