I have been having this problem since I purchased the app. When I use the refine tool, the edges of my selection are blurred and sometimes, totally screwed up (different parts of the image have odd transparency patterns). I have an example video. There should be a clear, sharp edge circle, but there is not. This only happens when I use the refine tool. It is otherwise fine when making selections. Anyone know why and how to fix this?

I suspect the issue here is that you have no real 'edges' in the selected area to refine. It’s application is targeted at edge refinement such as selecting fine hairs against a contrasting background.

You may get a slightly better result in your example by tapping to the context sub menu and adjusting Smooth setting, but that loses the sharpness of simply duplicating the original selection without refining.

Export as masked selection  layer and touch up the mask to fix any blurry edges, or use the pen tool.
