  1. I am trying to install a PS plugin (specifically Diffusion AI) to Affinity Photo, but I cannot figure out how to install it. Tutorials I have watched use a .plugin file, but several plugins I found from the internet use a .ccx file. Is there any way to use this with AF?
  2. Thanks for the advice, but I still want to know if there is another way i can make a brush like this (even if it is not grass). Is it possible or would I have to go a different route? Thanks.
  3. Here is an example: ( used a regular brush in the picture, but I want to make a grass brush from the selection)
  4. Sorry about the misunderstanding. I want to create a mask layer for the grassy rectangle you see on the bottom. I want to make the top of the grassy rectangle into grass-shaped.
  5. I attempted to make a “grass brush” from a shape. I selected the shape and cut it out, then turned it white. I selected “create brush from selection” and it created the brush. The brush works properly when drawing, but it only allow one color (white: the original color). Also, when drawing on a mask, the brush appears as a box with the shape on the inside. How can I fix this? *It appears inverted in the photo (on a mask), but it appears normal when I use it as a plain brush (no mask).
  6. I’m sorry for bugging, but it has been over a week since anyone’s last response. Has anyone figured out the issue?
  7. The above image is with clarity from raw development. The below image is from the live filter. I also noticed a deference between the other adjustments to the development effects such as white balance.
  8. I usually use the develop persona to finish off my image composition and “spice it up.” I realized that there were no presets for the develop persona, so I decided to apply the same adjustments/filters to my image in the photo persona. They don’t have the same effect, though. Why?
  9. I need to go back and edit a few parts of the image because I forgot. I still want to “finish” with the develop persona, its just that I needed to go back and make some fixes. —Also, I tried to add the adjustments to my project in the photo persona and scrolled each one to the same % as in the develop persona, but it had a different effect. Ideas?
  10. Do you have any suggestions, then? Will I just have have to redevelop it by memorization each time?
  11. I recently finished a project and sent it into the develop persona to finish it. I applied my adjustments and exported it. I realized I forgot to include something in my image, but if I want to add it, I must use the pre-developed image to add the new part in, then re-develop it. Is there any way to save a preset of the adjustments that I make? I see that there are for tone map, so I am confused that there aren’t preset options for develop.
  12. I did this prior to your response and it is working fine so far. One of the reasons I found online was from having too many projects open at once. I am therefor trying to limit the amount of projects open. I’ll let you know if it does happen again, even with minimal projects open. Thanks
  13. So, let’s say I have a body to cut out. There are a few non-contrasting spots to the body, but not at the hair. How do I make the selection sharp and still be able to refine the hair?
