Unable to register the affinity product range

Dear Affinity Team

I am not able to register my copy of Affinity Designer, Photo, and publisher as i get a the following message "Timeout while waiting for registration service "ready" notification"

Attached is a screenshot , any help is appreciated.

my affinity publisher version is 1.10.4.1198

Which operating system are you running Affinity on?  Have you tried registering again since getting this error?

Hi Stokerg Thank you for taking the time to read about the issue im still having 

Note that im using windows 11 Home edition , please find attached a screen shot , and yes i tried to register but failed with the same error .

Hi @DrKhalifa,

Odd as the registration server is working fine.  Can you see this post and add the address shown to your Firewall/Security softwares whitelist and try accessing the My Account option again.

I managed to get registration working by running the Affinity publisher as an Administrator

Unfortunately I have the same issue to register Affinity Publisher 1.10.4 on High Sierra 10.13.6.
I was able to register Affinity Photo 1.10.4 on the same computer (Mac).

Strange is that I don't see any blocks on my firewall (even after adding the firewall exclusion as mentioned in this thread). While I was unable to register Affinity Publisher 1.10.4 on High Sierra, I was able to register the software on a Windows 10 PC on the same network at about the same time.

On the Windows PC I saw Firefox was launched to complete the registration.
Both Mac and Windows computers use Firefox as their default browser. Even when I configure Safari as the default browser on High Sierra the registration fails and no browser is launched.

 

Any clue?
