grainy low resolution photo I need to sharpen

Hello, I have Affinity Photo and I need advice on which tools to use to get this image to have some clarity.

Something you can try is to enlarge it step by step, maybe by 110% each time. And then add the Clarity filter. I've tried it just as an experiment. Shame AfPhoto didn't let me create a working macro to automate this process.

@graphicT Out of interest, do you know what year this photograph was taken?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

That is great! To follow your lead, you first De-noised, then Level adjustment, then High Pad, then Unsharp Mask? Any further details would be appreciated.

I would say photo was taken in the 1950s, I'm not exact on the year as it is for a client. Thanks so much for your input.
