Cryptomatte handle wrong in Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

Hi,

i am seeing an odd behaviour in cryptomatte support in affinity photo.

i am rendering out a 32 bit exr file from my render package, in linear space. its a multilayer file, when i import it in affinity photo, the cryptomatte is transparent and almost not possible to make out that something is there, let alone i can seperate the objects.

When i import same file into after effects and use the typical cryptomatte workflow, everything works as expected.

here ist the test file.

what am i doing wrong?

I am using icc display transform as i have read up on the forum about that is the way to go in affinity photo, but other than this i dont know what i would be doing wrong...
