Move tool: lock layer size while allow moving

Recommended Posts

Hi,

on iPad, both with finger and pen, it is almost impossible to move relatively small objects without resizing by accident.

  • When you try to select and object and immediately move, often the wrong object got selected
  • When you first tap an object (to ensure the correct one is selected), and the move, in 99% it’s getting resized instead of moved.

It would really help if you provide a global modifier checkbox for the move tool which protects the object from being resized by accident. Note that this is not meant to be a property of the layer like the Layer lock.

A premium feature would be a kind of move tool modus selector:

  • Move or resize (like today)
  • Move only
  • Resize only.

My posts focus on technical aspects and leave out most of social grease like „maybe“, „in my opinion“, „I might be wrong“ etc. just add copy/paste all these softeners from this signature to make reading more comfortable for you. Otherwise I’m a fine person which respects you and everyone and wants to be respected.
