After Affinity Photo update brushes, assets, colour palettes are missing

I just noticed that the brushes that I have installed are no longer available. I haven't used any lately so I don't know which update did this. Also, the free assets of snow, rain, etc. that I downloaded from Affinity are no longer there. Is this normal when you apply an update? If so, is there a way to retain them? I've done updates before and never had this happen.

First question: Which OS, and where did you purchase.

Next, just to make sure: Do you use both the retail release and the beta release? I ask because if you do, it is possible that you installed things into one of them, and are now trying the other one. The applications are completely separate, and brushes, assets, etc. that you install in the retail version will not be in the beta version, and vice versa. They also will not be in Photo if you just installed them in Designer or Publisher, if you have multiple applications, which has confused some users.

For the free assets you downloaded from the Affinity Store, did you download them manually, and install them manually? Or did you Register your app and then install them via the My Account dialog? You might open the My Account dialog (green icon on the right side of the Toolbar) and see what the status of your registration and signin is, and of the content packs. If you're not signed in, and you installed via that dialog, you might have set it up to remove the items until you sign in again.
