zwilson
I'm following this YouTube tutorial and where he divides the two objects at the 6:00 minute mark he gets two distinct curves as where I wind up with three curves. The upper right curve is to be deleted but the bottom left shape is supposed to be one curve but I have two. I have no idea why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated. R C-R
FWIW, I am not sure I did everything exactly like in the video but after the divide step I get four shapes, as shown in Flame Gradient fail.afdesign. It might help if the Layers panel was visible in the Video but I think part of it is the results depend on exactly how much the selected nodes are rounded using the Corner Tool & possibly that the shape retained in the video is actually a "(Curves)" layer (note the plural) consisting of two individual curves. zwilson
I closed Designer then reopened it and when I did it again I got 4 curves this time. I'll experiment with this some more because the shape needs to be one curve to do the rest. If not I'll just move on.
