Fill "corrupts" curve

Recommended Posts

So I noticed something when applying fill layers to curves. Specially since I was using bevels and that was messing it up more drastically than in the attached images, that are already without any effects. Tan layer is just the curve colored. The yellow is applying a fill layer. Does the same no matter the color or the blending or the effects, etc. Need this to do quick changes to a template.

Welcome to the Affinity Forums!

This is not a bug, it is a limitation, apparently to optimize performance in complex documents.

You can avoid that. Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance, turn on "Use precise clipping". The export will give the correct result, regardless of this setting.
