Empire087 Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Ive been trying for the better part of the last 30 minutes to get this to clip and take the shape of the vector shapes underneath and it just wont. I watched the how to guide posted on youtube that i had used before, to no avail. I attached 4 pictures, the 2 top ones which should be showing the exact same thing will not clip, vs the bottom two from an old project last year on an older version of affinity designer will do it no problem. Literally both open at the same time, i must be missing something. Could i get a hand? Thank you, Dakota Quote
carl123 Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 In your second image the group layer in the Layers panel is not activated (no tick) Try that, if not the cause please upload the Designer file Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Empire087 Posted August 20, 2021 Author Posted August 20, 2021 Never mind figured it out, turns out im smoothbrain AF and apparently you had to have the vector with a fill color in order to do this. Why i dont know, but that was the only thing set different from the first set. This must be a small bug that mostly goes unnoticed, and i was pretty beat by the time i was working on my project yesterday. At least theres some closure on it. Dan C 1 Quote
