Why can't I move any layers?!

New to Affinity, but this is bonkers! I'm tearing my hair out here trying to move a simple layer.

The layer is selectable, turns blue, but can't be moved.  It's not locked. Is there something I'm missing?

I've tried drawing  new layers, but to no avail.

This is 1.10 of Designer.

Are you on Mac or Windows? Are you trying to move the layer on the canvas or in the Layers panel? Perhaps a screenshot or two would help us see what you’re working with.

Hi,

I'm on a M1 Mac.

It's a simple basic moving of layers in the layers panel. 

I finally managed to get it to work, but had to quit Designer and reopen.

It must be a bug or some weird occurrence.

Today I've had the same issue. Restarting the application didn't help, but a full Windows restart did. 🙂
