Well, I need this today as well and stumbled on this huge thread. I get Serif is a small fish, but to be honest, the more I peel back the layers and spend more time with their products, I'm finding a lot missing. It's still a decent purchase, but there's a reason why it's cheaper.

The lack of 'Transform Again' is a big omission and something we definitely need added to Designer. This is an important feature used by so many Adobe users making the switch over to Affinity. Please make it happen. -

I'm coming from Adobe Illustrator and while I expected a learning curve, it's frustrating that to simply delete a line between two nodes requires breaking a curve. This then 'cuts' the connection point, but you still can't select the line and delete it. There needs to be some Illustrator 'direct select' tool equivalent that would lessen the steps required for such a simple task. Or perhaps I'm just doing it wrong.
