Hi, I have a weird issue with selection. It's happening lately, most likely since the latest update 1.10. I use Intel based Mac with latest iteration of MacOS Bio Sur 11.4.
At first selection tool rectangle  selection tool works as normal. I select a portion of the image and I change to move tool and drag that part of the image so some other spot. The problem appear now when I switch back to selection. I can't select anything anymore, unless I go back once again into move tool for example and the once again switch to selection.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

After you move the selection, you still have the pixel selection active. That has probably caused a different selection mode to be active when you switch back to the selection tool, but you did not show the Context Toolbar in your recording, so I can't be sure. If that's it, just set the mode you want.
