gentleclockdivider
See this example , two open paths , different objects When I join them together , they are automatically closed an sometimes the result is not always desirable My question is , how can I merge , join two open paths and leave the paths unchanged ? R C-R
Don't use boolean Add for this. Instead, select both curves, switch to the Node Tool, & from the context toolbar click the Join Curves button in the Action group. Finish off with the Close Curve button in the same button group if you want a closed curve.
