Publisher 1.10.0 instant crash

Recommended Posts

Since updating, I've notice a couple of peculiar behaviors. In both cases, the result is my Publisher instantly closes.

The two scenarios in which this happens are:

1) updating a TOC using the Update button in the Table of Contents panel. Note that it didn't always do this; it started happening after about 3-4 updates resulting from document pagination.

2) when placing an image in a frame with text wrap.

Is anyone else experiencing this? It's causing Publisher to be unusable under deadline.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro, highly capable computer

Yes, other users have experienced this. The topic has been aired in the forums, but I can't find it at the moment. One experienced user suggested simply downloading the previous version 1.9.3. That worked for me (I am Mac OS). You need to have purchased Affinity Publisher from Serif, not the App Store. Search within the site for updates page for Affinity Publisher. Hope this is helpful.
