Immediate Crash on Editing a System Palette Swatch

Version 1.9.3 on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 on a non-retina iMac 21"

The title pretty much sums it up, double clicking on a system swatch color and then editing it makes Affinity Designer crash immediately. In one case macOS's report dialog popped up, in others it didn't.

Hi @excitive I'm going to need a bit more information as I haven't been able to recreate this issue.  It seems to be connected  to the shekhar.design palette which I don't have.  Did you make this yourself or import it? Has it worked previously or have you just imported it and it crashed immediately?

Could you attach a crash log by copying it out into a notepad / word document and uploading it here please?

Thanks for the response @SPaceBar. The palette in question was created by me, using colors from the same document I was working on at the time. I'll fiddle around bit more to see when it happens and when it doesn't.

How do I find the crash log? As no dialog appears when it crashes.

@excitive If you've seen it once but not since, do you by some chance still have the crash log open behind other apps and browser windows that you are using? This has definitely happened to me before. I haven't discovered it until I closed all my other windows.

@excitive You can find the crash log by following these steps:

• In Finder hold Option key while clicking the Go menu
• Scroll down to Go To Folder
• Paste the following in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/
• Click Go - you will find your most recent crash logs

I get a crash when dragging the position of Swatch items to the end of the Swatch.

Same happens in Designer

Can't find a Crash log.

Affinity 1.9.3

Mac M1 Mini 2020

iOS 11.5.1 (20G80)

Hi @tonywaghorn Sorry for the delay in replying to you. Does this always happen with a specific palette? If so is it a custom created palette? Have you tried remaking it? There was a previous post where a customer had created a custom palette that would crash when edited. Once he remade it, everything worked fine.

I have just updated Publisher and Designer to 1.10.1 and I have tried on a few swatches and it seems to be stable now.
