Patrick Bell
I have been working on a single layer using the inpainting brush to remove "mucky" water surface. It worked fine and I was zooming in and out to see how visible my edits were. At one point it just stopped working. It had been showing the red affected area and inpainting as expected. It only started working when I changed the hardness, used once then set the hardness back to 45%. Is this normal behaviour or did I do something? I am not using a mask layer (perhaps I should but this is an "Edit in" from lightroom so I am working on a tif copy.

If it stops working again, could you take a screenshot of your workspace, showing the Layers Panel and also showing the toolbar along the top which will have the settings that are currently in use
