JamesRO
Issue on both version 1.9.2.1035 and the previously installed version. When applying a Gaussian Blur live filter to an image using either a additive or subtractive mask the saved image does not render the blur effect. This also happens when rasterizing to a pixel layer. Masks using the additive method (white colored brush) show the image with the mask painted in white (no blur) Masks using the subtractive method (black colored brush) only show the image the area where the mask was erased and everything else renders as white. Just started happening recently. The update to 1.9.2 did not fix the problem. It does not seem to affect any other live filters with masks applied, only the Gaussian Blur. Note, the rectangle at the top left is only area where the file renders correctly. Any ideas?
Staff Gabe Posted April 26, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 26, 2021 Hi @JamesRO, Welcome to the forums. Can you attach a sample afphoto file?
JamesRO
Sure! Interestingly, I successfully exported a jpeg using the same afphoto file from the iPad version of the app. At this point I suspect a Windows update is the culprit. Staff Gabe Posted April 26, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 26, 2021 What if you disable Hardware acceleration in Preferences > General? JamesRO
JamesRO
That worked! I never changed that setting and honestly didn't realize the application had that option. Thanks!
