Gregory St. Laurent
I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when I open DNG files that have near blown highlights I'm getting a pinkish magenta cast in the brightest areas. If I try to correct by reducing the highlights in the develop persona the magenta color gets more intense. The DNG file was created in the new DXO PureRAW program and imported into Affinty Photo, I have contacted DXO also to investigate. This was taken with an Olympus E-M1 MkII with a 7-14mm 2.8 Pro lens 1/6400 ISO 200 f/2.8 Quote Desktop: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB Ram, RTX 3070, LG 27" 4K 10Bit Windows 11 22h2 Dell Laptop: i7 7700, 32GB Ram, GTX 1060, 16" 4K Windows 10 22h2
Staff Gabe Posted April 22, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 22, 2021 Hi @Gregory St. Laurent Can you zip and attach a sample DNG file? I remember seeing something similar before.

I remember seeing something similar before. Hi, here is a DNG file created from an Olympus ORF file in PureRaw. If you look to the right of the rock in the Surf there is the pinkish/magenta hue in the highlights. If you reduce highlights in the Develop Persona the pink increases in strength. I'm not sure if it's a problem with PureRAW or Affinity Photo. Staff Gabe Posted April 23, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 23, 2021 Thanks. It seems to only affect files produced by PureRaw. Issue logged. Gregory St. Laurent
Gregory St. Laurent
Hi, I'm just curious if any progress was being made with the various problems that happen using DNG files. I've seen a few other posts with issues with DNG files similar to mine. Thanks Quote Desktop: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB Ram, RTX 3070, LG 27" 4K 10Bit Windows 11 22h2 Dell Laptop: i7 7700, 32GB Ram, GTX 1060, 16" 4K Windows 10 22h2

Jakob Hansen
Hi, I'm running into the same issue with the combination of DxO PureRAW and Affinity. Not only when reducing highlights, but also when adjusting the white balance. I can share a demo .DNG for testing if needed.
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted April 26, 2023 Staff Share Posted April 26, 2023 The issue "Develop Persona: issues (highlights rendering) with DNG generated by DxO PureRaw/DeepPRIME technology." (REF: AFP-4444) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1781". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
