John Garrad
Following along to an Affinity Photo tutorial the instruction is to highlight two layers and then merge. I have tried to do this but am only able to toggle between both. How do I get them to both be highlighted simultaneously? Any help gratefully appreciated
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @John Garrad There are various ways to select two layers at the same time. One way is to select one layer on the canvas (or Layers Panel), then CTRL+click on the second layer on the canvas (or the Layers Panel). Another is to drag-select both layers on the canvas. There will be other ways if they aren’t what you want. P.S. If you are following a video tutorial it is usually good to give us a link to it so we can see what you are trying to do (sometimes the tutorials are old and/or don’t use up-to-date techniques).
