Why do I have to set the style for my brush for EVERY stroke?

Recommended Posts

Seriously, you had a chance to crush Adobe who makes the world's worst designer software, but you came up with this?

Why do I have to apply a style to my brush stroke, for EVERY stroke? It can't even remember the width, so I have to set that as well.

Not to mention selecting colors, which is the most random, frustrating experience I ever had since the last time I used Illustrator.

Come on, man.

I have this problem too. I’m a new user and the brush keeps reverting after every stroke.

Welcome to the Affinity forums.

I suggest you create your own topic so you get more attention, rather than posting in this old V1 feedback topic. And I would suggest posting in either the Questions forum (for desktop or iPad, as appropriate) or in the Bugs forum (for the appropriate OS).

Be sure to tell us which application you're using, and the release of the application. And what OS you're using. And a screenshot or recording of the complete application window would be helpful, too.
