There's a cropping bug.. To reproduce:

Open a RAW image

Accept default develop settings

Re-Open Develop Persona

Make a crop and double click to 'apply' crop

Press CANCEL to get out of Develop Persona

Observe:

Image is cropped to the size of the cropped area but starting from top left corner

Either way.. it shouldn't have cropped the image after a cancel...

I've also seen other strange behaviour after cropping.. masking/painting occurs on image coordinates as if not cropped..

I can't seem to reproduce this at will.. if I can I'll report.

PS. Any news on opacity drawing with pressure, and brighter UI?? Or should I forget about these options ever coming to AP? It has been requested a lot but can't find any 'hope' of being considered..

Regards,

Roel

EDIT: This bug is also in the appstore released version 1.3.5

Seems to me this is a major issue and after that many beta cycles, it still isn't fixed?

Furthermore (don't know if it's the same bug or separate one):

Open a RAW image

CROP an area and double click it to apply it

select White Balance tool (W)

hold ALT and drag an area..

observe selecting another area than where the mouse is..

Indeed priorities need to be set.. implementing panorama's are WAY more important than basic cropping..

Ok,

I've waited more than 6 months to see if 'low priority' bugs are getting resolved eventually.

Today when I've received the 'Update Available' from the Appstore.. I decided to start up AP again to check on the progress..

Those advertised 'new features' made me frown.. why all that mumbojumbo when basic functionality is missing/not working correctly.

What a disappointment..

After two minutes of use: Really? Still the same bugs exist and even worse, the crop bug has gotten worse..

(Open a RAW, crop, DEVELOP, click on the Background (Pixel) Layer and select Move Tool: Observe a larger than canvas selection and data underneath)

I'm glad I've said goodbye to this piece of crap software, no really.. I had high hopes and was once eager to buy. But it seems that you are TOTALLY uninterested in fixing the most basic stuff...

If those trivial things don't even work, how are you going to sell this off as good software?

Shame on you! Who is your CEO? Gavin Belson?

I'm sorry that I've suggested this application to so many people who need something cheaper than photoshop..

Off to the trashcan.. goodbye!

Again.. shame on you, team..
