RickyO
Are the affinity products for PC optimized for either Intel or AMD? Or, for any particular GPU?? v_kyr
The apps executables should be equally code optimized (compiled) for both CPUs instruction sets. So it's more a matter of a CPU's main power & throughput here. - For GPUs the whole is dependent too on a GPU main power & throughput and also highly on the quality of it's GPU device drivers, since the later is what the apps do instruction wise communicate with via OpenGL/OpenCL interfaces. RickyO
Thanks. Far more product options to decipher this build. Taking input from everywhere I can think of and then vet it all. Good to see intel has funded $2B to build a chip factory in Arizona; though we won't see the benefits for a couple of years. Still better than depending so heavy on offshore.
