ashf Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 What is the better way to merge multiple images? Like image scanned separately. Merging both vertically & horizontally unlike panoramas that is merged only horizontally. Quote
Old Bruce Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 I know that is just a schematic but you will need more overlap on the horizontal and there isn't enough on the top set of three either. Specialized software is going to get you better results but hey, give it try. I would just load up the 9 images and see what happens, the key is taking more than you think are needed, maybe four high by 5 wide instead of the 12 or 9. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I need them to be aligned automatically but manually. Specialized software that's affordable is also welcome. Quote

I have to add a caveat in that if there are large blank areas, like blue sky, then all bets are off. ashf 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.
