Bug in Inpainting Brush Tool

Hi,

The Inpainting Brush Tool becomes a strange artifact, impossible to work with. The happens after experiencing a bug with the Patch Tool reported below.

100% reproducible on 2 Windows machines running the latest Windows 10. One is AMD, the other Intel.

See attached an image taken with my phone. The usual screenshot procedure doesn't work when in AP.

Thank you,

Just out of curiosity, what is your "usual screenshot procedure"? Using Alt+PrtScr works just fine for me.

Check your Affinity Preferences, Performance section. If Hardware Acceleration is enabled, try disabling it and restarting Photo. There are a number of issues with hardware acceleration on Windows in 1.9.0. Some are addressed in the forthcoming 1.9.1 (currently available in beta).
