triotxxl
just look at this picutures and then try it on your on with my testfile. On my Pc its not possible to sum this objects into one object. It seems that Affinity Designer is caught in a loop or sth like that and the Designer in the Taskmanager gets bigger and bigger until 10 gb. testfile.afdesign
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @triotxxl I’ve just tried this myself and I get a similar result with Designer 1.9.0.932 on Windows 10. I left it “Adding” for around 15 seconds before manually ending the Designer process. Not sure if this is really a bug or whether we should expect it to take a long time but probably something that needs looking into as the design isn’t particularly complex (28 curve layers, none of which is complex in itself). (Maybe there's already a bug report for this, it sounds familiar.) triotxxl
Staff Sean P Posted February 26, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 26, 2021 Hi triotxxl, Thanks for the file - I'll get this passed over to development. It looks like a lot of the curves are not quite overlapping so it could be that that is causing it to get stuck in a loop.
