espionage
Hi there, As a beginner to Affinity (Designer), the learning curve is high. Is there a way to show both the ICON and the TEXT associated to it for the menus so that we can recognize it more easily? I don't have any muscle memory to remember what each of the icons mean/do/etc.
jmwellborn
Welcome to the Forums @espionage😊 I am not quite sure what you mean, but if you will hover your mouse over each tool, a descriptor will pop up. If you are referring to the icons up on the Context Toolbar you can go to VIEW> then scroll down to click on CUSTOMIZE TOOLBAR, and when that window opens you will find a little block down at the left hand corner which says "Show Icon". If you click on the tiny down arrow you have the option of "Show Icon and Text." I hope this is what you are looking for, and that this helps. carl123 1 Quote 24" iMAC Apple M1 chip, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16 GB unified memory, 1 TB SSD storage, Ventura 13.6.7.
