Gene Renner
I convert Fujifilm RAF files to 3000x2000 pixel JPGs using Capture One Pro Fujifilm. Sometimes I will do some additional editing within Affinity Photo. When I level the image using Crop - Level, alpha regions are exposed. Then I select Alpha partial, Grow 15 pixels, and Edit Inpaint. This does a good job of filling the alpha portions created by leveling the image. When I save the image (JPG), its sized has spontaneously changed from 3000x2000 pixels to 1800x1200 pixels. This lowers the image quality before the images are sent to a commercial lab for printing on photographic paper. Any ideas why the Affinity Photo spontaneously changes the leveled image size? Thank you in advance.
Staff Gabe Posted February 23, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 23, 2021 Hi @Gene Renner Welcome to the forums and sorry for the delayed reply. Can you attach a screen recording of this in action? I can't replicate it here.
